The Texas Department of Public Safety says one person was killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Irion County. It happened early Thursday morning on US 67, about four miles west of Barnhart. The fatality was identified as 25-year-old Marcelo Villareal of Roma. The DPS says Villareal was driving a Chevy Silverado pickup eastbound on 67 and, apparently as a result of fatigue, drove across the westbound lanes into a ditch, down an embankment and the vehicle rolled over two times. He was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the pickup and pronounced dead at the scene.
