Toddler Nearly Drowns At Nasworthy

A two-year-old boy is lucky to be alive today after nearly drowning yesterday at Lake Nasworthy. And San Angelo police say it may have been his family that saved his life. The two-year-old was at Mary E Lee Park when he got in trouble in the water. Family members pulled him out and officers say the toddler's aunt and uncle administered C-P-R, with advice from a nearby swimmer, until emergency responders arrived. The little boy was hustled to San Angelo Community Medical Center where, happily, he was checked out and later released in good condition.
