The federal Agency for Health Care Research and Quality says the news is not good for Texas when it comes to the say health care is administered here. Texas gets an average ranking when it comes to having babies and taking care of them, but aside from the maternal and child health care systems, Texas is ranked poorly. In nine of twelve categories Texas ranks weak or very weak. The information will be shared with lawmakers and insurance companies to idenitify problem areas and try to fix them.
