Border patrol offices move

Border Patrol agents in San Angelo are set to relocate as nine offices nationwide will be deactivated in the upcoming months. Six of the offices to be closed are located in Texas. The move comes after the federal agency decided it would be more efficient to move their resources closer to the border. Other stations in Texas affected include Amarillo, Dallas, Lubbock, Abilene and San Antonio.
