Lake Nasworthy dangers

The public is cautioned to use care when launching watercraft and boating at Lake Nasworthy, where low water levels are exposing rocks, logs and other debris, increasing risks to boats and boaters. Dought has reduced Nasworthy's capacity to 69 percent. As a result, boaters risk damaging their crafts when attempting to launch them at ramps that are barely in the water at Spring Creek, Middle Concho, South Concho and Knickerbocker parks. Along with damaging boats, boaters risk serious injury if they strike normally submerged logs or rocks while on th elake.
