Gas price update

Similar to last year, retail gas prices dropped prior to the busiest summer driving weekend, the Independence Day holiday. Triple-A says a jump in the value of the U.S. dollar and an increase in refinery output kept crude prices at bay. The national average price of regular gas is three-49 a gallon, eight cents less than last week. The statewide average in Texas of three-35 was down five cents. Gas-buddy-dot-com reports the price of regular in San Angelo ranges from three-19 to three-37 a gallon.
