San Angelo police recovered a weapon and narcotics during a shoplifting arrest at an eastside grocery store on Sunday. An officer detained a couple he believed to be shoplifting at the Lowe's Marketplace at 2 South Main Street. They had a baby with them and stolen items were recovered from a diaper bag. A search of the male turned up a handgun, drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine. 24-year-old Steve Zuniga and 26-year-old Jasmin Torres, both of San Angelo, were arrested. Both face theft charges; Zuniga also faces gun and drug charges.
