A member of the Angelo State University history faculty has been awarded a conference faculty fellowship for the American Association of Hispanics in Higher Education's national conference scheduled for March in San Antonio. As a faculty fellow, Dr. John Klingemann will arrive two days prior to the conference to take part in organized workshops designed to promote Hispanic persistence and advancement in academics. Faculty fellows also make presentations during the annual meeting, which will explore the theme "Toward a Latino Attainment Agenda: Shaping Our Own Destiny."
