Two San Angelo men have been charged in connection with an aggravated robbery that occurred last Saturday at a home in San Angelo. Three people said they were in the front room of a residence in the 2900 block of North Street when two unknown men entered and demanded money at gunpoint. One the occupants was hit in the head, apparently with a handgun, and the suspects left with an undisclosed amount of money. Police executing a search warrant Wednesday in the 1800 block of Chapman Street found evidence implicating 32-year-old Patrick Semple, who was arrested at that residence, and 27-year-old Billy Jack Vercher, who later turned himself in.
