A New York Times bestselling author will be featured at two Democratic Party events in San Angelo next month. On Monday, September 10th, Jim Hightower of Austin, former Texas agriculture commissioner, will help open the Tom Green County Democratic Party headquarters on West Twohig at 5:30 PM. Then, Hightower will headline the meeting of the Tom Green County Democratic Club at 7 PM.
