A man accused of robbing three San Angelo-area pharmacies of narcotics is in jail today. Police say 34-year-old John Briggs, Junior, was arrested after an employee at a Walgreens pharmacy recognized him from a robbery at the pharmacy last month. Officers cornered Briggs near Houston Harte Expressway and made the arrest. Investigators now say evidence found in Briggs' car and home implicate him in narcotics robberies at two area Walmarts and a C-V-S pharmacy. In each of them, a lone robber demanded drugs, particularly hydrocodone.
