With school underway for some students and starting next week for the rest, San Angelo police are reminding you to get back in the zone--the school zone. You are reminded to watch out for kids walking to school or waiting for buses. Slow down and pay attention in school zones and around bus stops. Remember, speed limit fines double in school zones. And drivers are prohibited from using handheld devices in school zones.
