Several people were injured in a crash Sunday night on US 87 about 22 miles south of San Angelo. A pickup pulling an empty box trailer was traveling westbound on US 87 in rainy and windy conditions. The winds pushed the trailer over onto its side causing it to block both west bound lanes. When two other pickups stopped to check on the trailer, a westbound truck-tractor pulling a semi hit one of the two pickups that stopped to help and then crashed into the overturned trailer and pickup. The driver of one of the two pickups was injured along with two passengers from the pickup pulling the overturned trailer. They were taken to Shannon Medical Center for treatment
