Check fraud arrest

San Angelo police looking for a man suspected of passing fraudulent checks to local hotels responded to the Spring Hill Suites on Southwest Boulevard last Wednesday. 30-year old Jonathan Mosier was detained and found to be in possession of items used to commit financial fraud, including books of phony checks, blank check paper, ID cards belonging to other people and a computer and printers. Police say other people might be involved. Mosier was taken to the Tom Green County Jail and charged with theft.
