One person got out and another did not when a house caught on fire in Menard County early Monday. Authorities say Billy Moore thought that 63-year-old Clara Porter was behind him as he escaped. She was not. Porter died; Moore was treated for smoke inhalation. It's believed the fire might have been ignited by lightning.
