Something to watch for if you're behind the wheel: the annual seal-coating of selected San Angelo streets is underway this week. Each day through Friday, Brannan Paving will begin its work at sunrise and end 30 minutes before sundown, while trying to avoid peak times in high-traffic areas such as around schools and large retailers. Seal-coating seals micro-cracks in pavement and prevents water from seeping into the roadway foundation and thus helps prevent problems such as potholes.
