Last Saturday, police patrolling near South Chadbourne and East Concho pulled over two San Angelo men on bicycles, one of which did not have a working headlamp. A routine check showed that one of the men, 34-year-old Joshua Tijerina, had outstanding local city warrants and an outstanding warrant out of Bexar County. As an officer tried to take him into custody, Tijerina fled on his bicycle and then on foot. With the help of two police service dogs, he was tracked down, arrested and faces multiple charges.
