The San Angelo Independent School District is inviting the public to its back-to-school convocation, which will be held next Wednesday at 9 AM at the Coliseum. Keynote speaker will be adventurer Eric Alexander, who scaled Mount Everest in 2001 while guiding his blind friend, Erik Welhenmayer, to the summit. The convocation will also include campus and department recognitions as well as music provided by the Central and Lake View high school bands, orchestras and choirs.
