San Angelo Police have apprehended a suspect involved in several robberies of local pharmacies. On Wednesday afternoon, a man entered the CVS Pharmacy on South College Hills Boulevard and handed a note to an employee at the pharmacy counter demanding narcotics. Police caught up with him in the 4900 block of the Houston Harte Expressway. He was identified as 34-year-old John Briggs Jr. of Eustace. It was determined that Briggs was also responsible for robberies on July 24th at the Sherwood Way Walgreens and on May 12th at the Abe Street Walgreens.
