Judge Barbara Walther and Tom Green County Judge Mike Brown presided as the victors in the November elections were sworn into office Tuesday in ceremonies at the county courthouse. Among those taking office were Sheriff David Jones, 51st District Attorney Allison Palmer, and County Commissioners Steve Floyd and Ralph Hoelscher, along with the sheriff's chief deputy, county constables and the tax assessor.
