San Angelo's representative in the U.S. House, Mike Conaway, voted against the Senate bill averting the fiscal cliff, but it still passed last night by a vote of 257 to 167. President Obama says the legislation restores balance to the U.S. tax system by raising tax rates on incomes over 400-thousand dollars for individuals and 450-thousand for couples.
