A traffic stop by San Angelo police on Wednesday night turned into a drug bust. An officer stopped a vehicle in the 1500 block of Koberlin that was traveling without working taillights. 19-year-old Jonathan A. Leura of San Angelo was also allegedly driving without a valid driver's license. The officer, noticing Luera acting nervously, asked if he had anything illegal in his car and Leura said he had marijuana. Police say further investigation revealed he had two ounces of pot and also methamphetamine. Leura was arrested on possession charges and taken to the Tom Green County Jail.
