An Angelo State University professor and an ASU research scientist have been awarded a 309-thousand dollar grant from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The money will fund the project headed by Dr. Christine Purkiss and Dr. Kit Price Blount that is designed to improve Earth system science teaching practices in rural elementary schools.
