In Big Lake today: a standoff between police and a man who's suspected of killing a Reagan County deputy sheriff. Deputy Josh Mitchell was shot and killed last night while searching an alley in Big Lake. The suspect then barricaded himself in a house. Officers evacuated the area and the standoff last all night and well into this morning. Finally, around eleven-fifteen,SWAT team officers tossed concussion grenades and tear gas into the house and entered it. Reports say they found the suspect, Marcus Madison, hiding in a closet. Madison will be charged with Deputy Mitchell's murder and a number of other crimes.
