Funeral services were held in Big Lake Wednesday for the Reagan County deputy gunned down in a standoff last week. Members of the San Angelo Police Department were in attendance and posted this message on Facebook--quote--"To the Mitchell family and community of Big Lake, thank you for sharing Josh with all of us. Deputy Josh Mitchell, you will be missed by many and never forgotten. Thank you for your service. Rest easy Deputy, we will keep the watch covered here. That is what you would want, and that is what we will do."
