The man charged with killing Deputy Mitchell died Tuesday night. Marcus Madison had been hospitalized at Shannon Medical Center after being airlifted from the scene of the standoff in Big Lake with what was believed to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Authorities were planning to file other charges had Madison survived.
