News today that the man who's accused of murdering a Reagan Count deputy then precipitating an all-night SWAT team standoff in Big Lake had allegedly threatened to kill police officers as recently as early July. 42-year-old Marcus Wade is charged with killing deputy Josh Mitchell Thursday night in Big Lake prior to a seventeen-hour standoff that ended with his arrest. Now, word that Madison had allegedly been uncooperative and made threats against officers while he was jailed in Brown County on charges of family violence and resisting arrest. Wade was freed on bond in Brown County on July 14th.
