San Angelo police responded Tuesday evening to the alley behind the 11-hundred block of East 21st Street where a suspicious subject was reported to be unloading windows from a white Ford Escape. Officers found the vehicle and its driver and, nearby, several brand new windows with Angelo Glass and Mirror stickers. A search of the Escape turned up packaging simlar to that of the windows and drug paraphernalia. The windows turned out to be stolen. Also found was a pawn ticket for a DVD player reported stolen in Arlington. The driver, 29-year-old Joe Salas, was arrested.
