Wind advisory, freeze watch

Windy and cold conditions are hitting the Concho Valley. The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for today and a freeze watch for tomorrow morning. A strong cold front was moving through west central Texas early this morning. Behind it are north winds, which have increased to 20 to 35 miles an hour and will spread south across the rest of the area and last most of the day. As the winds diminish tonight, unseasonably cold temperatures are expected. Lows in the upper 20s to lower 30s are possible, especially in river valleys and low-lying areas.
