An honor for Angelo State University's Office of Development and Alumni Relations: the Council for Advancement and Support of Education has recognized the department with a Circle of Excellence Award for Overall Improvement in the university's fundraising activities. ASU was one of only 30 colleges nationally so recognized in 2012 and one of only three so honored among public comprehensive universities in the United States.
