Loans and Other Assistance for Farmers from the USDA

The U-S Department of Agriculture designated 213 counties in Texas as primary natural disaster areas, because of the drought and wildfires, including Tom Green, Coke, Concho and Schleicher. That means all qualified farm operators in the counties are eligible for low interest emergency loans from the USDA’s Farm Service Agency.
