Challenge to the Pre-Abortion Sonogram Law in Court Wednesday

Lawyers for the Center for Reproductive Rights asked U-S District Judge Sam Sparks to halt enforcement of the state’s new pre-abortion sonogram law. They say it is unconstitutionally vague and intrudes on free speech rights for doctors. The law is due to take effect September 1st. A ruling is probably a month away, as the judge has requested more written arguments and a response.
